HOUSE BEDROOMS

The house rooms have been designed and fitted to provide comfort and luxury. Each room slightly different, the feel is relaxed to let you do what you want to when you want to. House rooms are spacious and individually designed, all equipped with the latest technology including HD Plasma screens TV’s DVD players and wireless internet access. Showers like rainstorms and big baths for two in which to enjoy our personally developed WH products. Handmade beds large enough to lose yourself in, with crisp white Frette linen. Our maximum sleeping capacity is 14.

RESTAURANT

Unhurried lunches and slow dinners are on the menu at the WhiteHouse in Chillington. It is said that two’s company, but three is definitely the magic number for the exuberant team behind the WhiteHouse in Chillington. The small, intimate hotel and restaurant in the heart of the South Hams is the brainchild of Matthew Hall, Tamara Costin and Allyson Wray.

“The whole idea is that it’s small and personal and we have direct contact with our guests. It’s what we would expect when we go out, which is simple but great design and a simple food offering. We want people to be comfortable and relaxed, not challenged.”

Breakfast will be served all day, and guests will also be invited to house suppers and wine-tasting evenings in the hotel’s kitchen.

It goes without saying that the White House will be making the most of the artisan bread, South Devon meat, free-range eggs, ice cream, organic vegetables, chocolate and organic juices and ciders produced within a stone’s throw - not to mention seafood from Start Bay.

MEETING ROOMS

The Georgian dining room is available to hire privately for brainstorming sessions & meetings. 

GARDEN & BEYOND

A sheltered garden with many quite corners to read or laze about. A couple of bicycles for guests to use and explore Devon’s green lanes, coastal footpaths and the local pubs! or organise a WhiteHouse picnic from Ally
