Built in 1866 The Imperial Hotel is a Mediterranean style resort perched on a cliff top overlooking Torbay. It's the only five star hotel in the area with breathtaking views of the English Riviera. Bedrooms
Our bedrooms are arguably the very best in Torquay and designed for your total comfort. Most of the 153 bedrooms and 17 luxury suites have private balconies overlooking the stunning coastline, just the place to relax and unwind and recharge your batteries.

Dining
The magnificent Regatta Restaurant has panoramic sea views of glorious Torbay and offers superb cuisine and fine wines. Alternatively try TQ1, it's less formal but offers exciting, innovative and tasty dishes.

There are 10 conference rooms reflecting the grandeur and quality of this five-star hotel. The hotel has up to 25 syndicate rooms that are ideal for exhibitions, training events or meetings.

The Torbay Suite

This impressive suite seats up to 350 guests in theatre style and is a venue with a difference. Offering over 470 square metres of space, it is totally versatile to cater for all types of event from weddings to conferences and banquets.

With breathtaking sea views, the room benefits from a canopy, which can be extended onto the terrace outside - perfect for drinks receptions and parties. The Torbay Suite is supported by ISDN lines, a dance floor and adjustable lighting.

The Regency Room

A large room ideal for a small to medium sized conference or wedding. The room accommodates 150 guests in a reception or 125 delegates theatre style. The Room Benefits from a wooden dance floor and natural lighting.


Haldon, Royal, Churchill, Duchy & Gold Rooms

Offering smaller meetings and events peaceful surroundings, these suites are located on the ground and first floors. Decorated and furnished to an exceptionally high standard, the luxurious suites cater for private dining and boardroom meetings. The Haldon Room is also licenced for civil ceremonies.

Conservatory

The Conservatory looks out over Torbay and the landscaped gardens. This lounge area can be used for private functions, or for simply relaxing, enjoying a drink or snack and taking in the view.
