16 peaceful guest rooms, beautifully appointed and designed to relax, refresh and revive. For the comfort of all, we operate a no-smoking policy throughout the hotel. The mixture of both traditional and contemporary style complements the historic Victorian architecture and enhances the warm friendly welcome and attention to detail received from the enthusiastic staff. All of the sixteen en-suite spacious rooms are non-smoking, at least 50% have 6 foot X 6 foot 6 beds. The hotel welcomes children over 14 years old.

The Restaurant

Recipient of several food awards, including 2 AA Rosettes,Best Hotel in Devon 2001, and most recently 2 RAC Ribbons, the restaurant offers a classical food style that has international influences. Lead by London trained Executive Chef - Edward Elliot - The Edgemoor kitchen brigade prides itself on the use of local produce - including speciality fish dishes - the fish is delivered fresh daily from the coast - and a wide variety of vegetarian dishes.

The specials, which are changed daily, include a home-made soup, two fish dishes and a vegetarian option. These complement the Full Menu, which is re-written every month.
