In an area of "Outstanding Natural Beauty", the hotel benefits from much use of natural slate & local stone. Entirely upon one level, so as not to obstruct the natural beauty of the area, our guests benefit from all rooms opening directly onto the gardens.

The "Soar Mill Cove Bedroom" is designed for maximum comfort and luxury. All rooms have patio doors leading onto their own private terraces and the gardens. 
The "Superior" Bedrooms all have something special for us to tell you about, maybe, the view, a private garden, the flowers or even the size of the bath! 
Single guests are always accommodated in our luxurious double or twin rooms. Families can chose from rooms specially designed for their parties needs with favourable terms to suites of rooms offering complete privacy for Mum & Dad.

Our menus change on a daily basis, making full use of the local produce. They offer a balance of simple and elaborate dishes, with fresh Lobster, Crab and local fillet Beef always available.

"Watch the lobster pots being emptied in the bay, then enjoy the catch served in a saffron sauce with sautéed queen scallops. Fish and seafood are a specialty at this idyllically located hotel and although the freshness of the crab needs no more than a crisp leaf salad, the modern West Country cooking also takes in seared veal with ginger and lime butter, and a breast of Devonshire chicken with wild mushrooms and a casserole of haricot beans. Desserts include hot blackberry and apple pie, and Cornish Yarg soufflé makes an unusual savoury. A special children's menu is served between 5 and 5.30pm"
