Pressland Country House is proud to present a warm and welcoming escape to the rural countryside in the heart of Devonshire. Pressland House is surrounded by Devon's finest rolling fields and countryside and enjoys beautiful views towards Dartmoor and West Devon.

Pressland House presents the perfect place to base yourself for an exploration of the West Country and has undergone a full refurbishment over the last two years and is finished to the highest standards. Pressland Country House has been prepared with our most discerning guests in mind with attention to the detail so as to offer something a little different for your stay away from home – and with all the creature comforts.

Built in the 1850s Pressland House is full of character and situated only a mile and half from the historic Market Town of Hatherleigh and six miles from Okehampton and the A30. From here you can explore Devon and Cornwall and enjoy the wonderful countryside and amazing North Cornish/Devon beaches and coastline or enjoy the any number of visitor attractions in the South West.

Pressland House is 35 minutes from the North Cornish and Devon coasts, 10 minutes from the A30 and Dartmoor and 40 minutes from Exeter Cathedral and City Centre.

WOODPECKER HOLIDAY LET

Woodpecker holiday let is a scrumptious three double bedroom holiday let formed from the western part of Pressland Country House. Spread over three floors Woodpecker offers accommodation to the very highest standards and will suit most families or small groups looking to base themselves in the glorious heart of rural Devon. The master bedroom is on the first floor and has a delightful en suite and fantastic views to the West. The second floor has two bedrooms, a double and a twin bedroom, and a bathroom. The bathroom has a luxurious corner bath as well as a shower and is light, clean and spacious. Downstairs has a fully equipped kitchen/diner, a wonderful sitting room with wood burner (with a complimentary basket of *firewood) to relax in front of in the evenings, a digital flat screen television, and a downstairs lavatory. Access into the property is through the private courtyard. You are also welcome to take advantage of the secluded wooded area just beyond the courtyard or the grand front lawn where children can let off steam.
