Kittiwell House is a 16th Century thatched Devon longhouse with loads of character & charm. Situated in the lovely village of Croyde, It has it’s own commanding views of the Devon countryside & is just a few minutes walk to Croyde Bay.

Lyn, Steve & Emma Vine would like to welcome you to their country house which provides six comfortable en-suite bedrooms, all individually decorated to a high standard. Kittiwell is fronted by a large courtyard that has ample parking for it’s guests. Kittiwell is not just a B&B it is also our home & while we aim to provide excellent accommodation & service we also hope to offer a relaxed & friendly atmosphere. We want you to enjoy your breakfast & linger over that last cup of coffee or tea, relax & plan your day

Whether it is a brisk walk, energetic surf, a good game of golf or just lazing on one of the many North Devon beaches that's on our doorstep, such as Saunton or Woolacombe. Whatever you choose to do spoil yourself & have a Great Day!!!

Our Rooms

• Wheat

Wake up in this lovely sunny room with double aspect windows & countryside views. Wheat is under the thatch with a King sized sleigh Bed & ensuite bath.

• Rye

This cosy room is decorated in restful green colours to aid a good night’s sleep. Awaken with the morning sun & countryside views. Rye also has an ensuite bath

• Heather

Spoil yourself in this spacious room with a King sized sleigh bed & sunken bath with shower

All our rooms now have digital flat screen TV's & built in DVD players

• Yealms

This charming large room with ensuite has a little more to make your stay special. A King size bed, a large digital TV/DVD and a sofa for lounging on

• Sways

Sways is a lovely bright large double/twin room with an en-suite shower that overlooks the cottages & garden

Sedge

Sedge is a large double/triple room which overlooks the garden. This room has ensuite shower facilities.

After a days surfing, walking of just lazing on the beach, why not relax some more in our hydro therapy massage spa. For booking times and costs, please ask Lyn or Emma

• Fitness Room

Although we cannot call it a gym, there is more than enough fitness equipment there to keep your body fully toned.

• Surfing

Outside washing facilities for wetsuits and surf equipment.

Rooms

Each of our rooms have DVD players and a large selection of DVDs all available. A small fridge is also provided for guests. All our bedrooms are ensuite but not all of them have showers, a separate shower room is available to all guests

Self Catering

• The Vines Cottages

These newly built traditional barn style cottages are situated in the grounds of Kittiwell house. The cottages nestle beneath the surrounding fields and farmland within the quiet location of the Kittiwell at the bottom of the valley. All the cottages are furnished to a high standard in a contemporary style, all have central heating (inc in price), and all three sleep 4/5 people plus cot (by arrangement). All three cottages are non smoking and sorry no pets.

• Weez House

Is a luxury self contained 1 bedroom lodge situated at the top of Kittiwell House gardens. Accommodation includes 1 bedroom with a small ensuite shower room. Lounge with well equipped kitchen and breakfast bar.

You can enjoy stunning views of the countryside and the sea from the south facing balcony or sip a glass of bubbly from the hot tub. An ideal location for a romantic break or just to get away from it all.....

Celebrate your wedding in a beautiful country haven with a friendly & intimate atmosphere. Kittiwell is a small venue with a licence to hold Civil weddings. We have a cosy licenced room with a maximum capacity for 50 guests & family with a choice to be seated or standing.
