You are assured of a warm welcome at Blackler Barton House Bed and Breakfast Devon. This delightful 17th century Grade II listed former farmhouse is situated in the village of Landscove in the idyllic South Hams countryside between the mediaeval yet new-age town of Totnes and the ancient towns of Ashburton and Buckfastleigh.

Set in a peaceful rural location surrounded by organic farmland, Blackler Barton House Bed and Breakfast is just a couple of miles from the A38 Exeter/Plymouth Expressway. It is an ideal base for enjoying the great walking country in the Dartmoor National Park, yet at the same time only a few miles from the English Riviera of Torbay and the spectacular coastline from Dartmouth towards Plymouth.

It is the perfect oasis to relax and enjoy Devon’s delights.

We offer beautifully furnished single or double/twin rooms with a choice of en-suite or private bathroom. All rooms have colour TV, hair dryer, a selection of toiletries, and beverage tray offering "Fair Trade" tea, coffee and hot chocolate. There is full central heating with individual thermostats. The guest lounge has a large inglenook fireplace with log fire, and there is an acre of grounds outside.

Breakfast features a delicious home-cooked full English, vegetarian, or continental breakfast using a variety of free range, local or organic produce.

There is ample off-road parking, and a good pub a few minutes walk from house.

Rooms and Rates

Blackler Barton House has three guest bedrooms, two of which have en-suite facilities, and one of which has a private bathroom. Our rooms are all decorated to a high standard and also feature comfortable Hypnos beds, Egyptian cotton sheets, Sony LCD colour television, hair dryer, and a beverage tray. All rooms are centrally heated, with individually controlled radiators.

Double/twin Occupancy - £72 per room per night

Single Occupancy - £42 per room per night.

The Torcorn Room (twin/double en-suite)

This room is quite spacious, with an en-suite shower bathroom. If preferred, the twin beds can be linked together to make a super king size double bed.

The Kingston Room (double en-suite)

 Our double room has a king size double bed. It has an en-suite shower bathroom. This room is also available for single occupancy.

The Long Acre Room (twin/double, private bathroom)

This room is relatively large, with an adjoining private bathroom. If preferred, the twin beds can be linked together to make a super king size double bed.
